This year, the Samsung Replenish will soon become available for Sprint subscribers. Tagged as the “world’s first eco-friendly Android smartphone,” this handset is made of 82% recyclable materials with an outer casing made from 34% post-consumer recycled plastic. It also features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, and microSD card slot.
The best part is that Sprint would waive the mandatory $10 smartphone data add-on for those carrying the Samsung Replenish. That’s a total annual savings of US$120, which could be spent on 30 gallons of gas.
The Samsung Replenish will be available to Sprint on May 8 for only $49.99 with a two-year contract.
