Going small seems to be the order for the day for newer devices. Even those devices that were known for their size are being built for portability and in a smaller form factor. It may have been the challenge that the Tablet PC market posed that led to many PC manufacturers to go small. And with the new Stealth LPC-670 Mini PC, small desktops have become quite common.
Despite its relatively small size, the Stealth LPC-670 features specs that make it comparable to its bigger relatives. Its smaller 6.5″ x 6″ x 2″ form factor comes with features like an Intel Core i5 2.4 GHz processor for the standard model, 2x DDR3 So-Dimm memory slots to accommodate up to 8GB of RAM, and with a 160GB 2.5″ Serial SATA hard drive that can go up to 750GB and higher. It already comes featured with a Gigabit LAN, WiFi 802.11 g, USB 2.0 slots, serial, DVI-I, Audio and HDMI ports. Quite a monster of a CPU despite its small size, the Stealth LPC-670 Mini PC may just be the CPU that everyone would want to have. But at a base price of around US$1,650, it may be something that others would think over before buying. But if you are saving space and money is not an issue anymore, then this device is for you.
