MSI R6970 and R6950 are based on respectively named AMD Radeon HD 6000 series Cayman graphic cores which are built on 40 nm fabrication process. This, of course, is fine, but many people out there are holding it for the next-gen GPUs from ATI and NVIDIA. We expect them to be out some time next year, so if you are actually buying for a gamer, make sure you know what you are doing or you’ll spend a lot of money and will get no appreciation instead.
