XM15 - latest laptop from Digital Storm for gamers

Digital Storm has announced its best and most powerful laptop of all time: the XM15. It will not only bring you high performance in games and HD video, but will also last longer on one charge. How is this possible? Well they have played with its graphics card. Its video card is NVIDIA's GT 425M with as much as 1GB of memory, but how can it make your batteries last longer?

So what is the trick that makes it live longer? XM15 features NVIDIA's Optimus Hybird Technology. The trick is that this laptop has another video adapter; it has a built in Intel video adapter. When you don't need the performance of big GT 425M it will automatically switch to its smaller brother. Switching process is totally invisible for users and you will have no pauses or reboots. And as you assume the smaller video adapter consumes less electricity.

XM15 is available in 4 versions. It has a 15.6-inch display with resolutions of 1366x768 of 1920x1080 pixels. You can choose from 3 different processors: Intel Core i5 - 520M, Intel Core i5 - 540M, or i7 - 620 with 2.4, 2.53 and 2.8 GHz clock frequencies respectfully. It supports up to 8GB of RAM and you can choose up to 1 GB hard drive or SSD drive.

As to connectivity this beast features: 1Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. It also has a webcam, DVD or Blu-ray drive, it's up to you to choose, HDMI and VGA outputs, and very popular today USB 3.0 as well as eSATA.

Digital Storm's newest laptop has Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) preinstalled. The prices start from $ 999, and you can buy XM15 from their official website.
