Apple iPhone and RIM BlackBerry loose the market to Android smartphones in US

A report prepared by the source indicates that the device is running Google Android become the market leader for smartphones in the US. They are ahead of the devices with other operating systems offered by Apple and Blackberry.



The most significant advantage is observed in the age segment of users "from 18-24 years." The data was collected in the period from November to January.



According to the reports, the devices from different manufacturers with Android occupy 29% of the smartphones market. Major providers of smartphones are HTC's Android and Motorola. The share of the Apple iPhone and Research in Motion (RIM) BlackBerry accounting for 27%.
