JBL has come up with a new speaker dock for the Apple iDevice that also supports AirPlay by Apple. The new speaker dock is called the JBL On Air Wireless, said to revolutionize the way people listen to music. That may probably be because of Apple AirPlay. But by the looks of it, this speaker dock looks rather interesting.The design of the JBL On Air Wireless AirPlay Speaker Dock is quite unique in that it sports ring shaped HALO designed speakers rather than the usual boxed type. What may probably make it even interesting is its ability to stream music wirelessly around the home from any Apple iDevice or even from the iTunes library from the computer. The unit also provides playback transport control to the source device of the streamed audio. The JBL On Air Wireless also features an alarm clock, a digital FM radio and a charging dock for the Apple iDevice. This unique wireless speaker dock is expected to arrive around spring. There’s no word yet on its pricing.
