The Audio Light Bulb

Having a vacant light receptacle may just be used in the home for a light bulb. But what if you can install a speaker on it instead that also provides some lighting on the side? That is a possible option that the new Audio Light Bulb may provide.
The new Audio Light Bulb is a wireless, illuminated speaker that you can fit into a standard light bulb receptacle. This 10-watt speaker is fitted with a receiver that can receive interference-free audio signals coming from its transmitter dock for up to 50′ away. Aside from the speaker, the Audio Light Bulb also has LED bulbs built in that provides bright light comparable to a 60-watt light bulb. This set also comes with a remote control that can be used for volume, playback and even lighting controls. The Audio Light Bulb is available at Hammacher Schlemmer for US$300.
